Like with the 2005 there is the back light bleeding. Besides dead pixels, are there any other issues that I should look for? Does the 2405 need a dual link video card to power it? I have a PCI-Express eVGA 6800GT video card non-overclocked. I sure hope that it is enough to power this beast.

Check the ports. One of the USB ports to power up the 4 USB ports at the back/side was a little bit loose.

6800GT should be fine but then it all depends on what you're going to be doing.

I have that same monitor with a 6800GT (o/c'd 420/1100). It's more than adequate for desktop display at 1920x1200, though you may find dragging large windows a little jittery.

I try to run whatever games support it at 1680 x 1050, and the card usually lives up to the task. I am running Oblivion at that res, but with settings cranked back pretty severely.

I have troubles playing games on my 7800GT. CS at 1920x1200 needs AA to be turned off, otherwise i can play at 1680x1050 with eyecandy... even then CoD is like hell....

They used to have an issue where the display starts humming after one hour of running and its pretty annoying. I RMA'ed on due to that but apprently it has been fixed now.

Also if possible try to get one of those monster power strips which do line conditioning and give clean power. For such an expensive piece of video equipment I would say its a must.
