Just pulled in the garage with a shiny new Mazda 3 5 door

1AB ABS/SAB/SAC Package
1XT Xenon & TPMS Package
LS1 Black Leather Seat Upholstery

Walked out the door with it for $20k even after tax, title, and tags. Basically took $1500 even off the MSRP. Not bad considering I didn't even haggle. Told them to give me their bottom dollar because I wasn't going to put up with any bullsh!t, came back with $1000 off the sticker, then got another $500 off because of my wife's grad discount.

This thing takes the corners a bit better than my Camry! 😀

The red wasn't my first choice of color, I really wanted one of the blues. But, I wanted to get into a car quick and they were willing to deal on current inventory. Outside of color this car had everything I wanted...and my wife liked the red so we rolled with it.

This also came with some pre-installed incredibly dark tint too, so that saved me a couple hundred plus the time to have to do it myself.

Yeh, no leather, no HID's, no moonroof, and I like the seats and seating position in the 3 much better than in the 6.
 
Nice car. I have the Protege5. I love the car, but I wish it had more H.P. I would love to trade it in for a Mazda 3 5 door, but in just not in the cards right now. If you don't mind, what is your A.P.R. ?

I got 3.99% for 60 months from a local credit union. My old camry goes up for sale this weekend and I'll refinance it down even more after I make a sale on that car.

how did the Sunfire Red on the 6 different from the Velocity Red on the 3? they look the same to me....
 
actually... can you get HIDs on the 6? i haven' seen anything that says what kind of lights it has...

I agree. Good job on the CU!! I went CU for the Infiniti and got 5.75% on a 7 year old car with 108k miles on my own, young, not that great credit history signature. I love CU's =)
 
Congrats! The 3 is definitely the best car in its class. The styling is better than many cars that cost twice as much as well!
 
3 is awsome. I too own a Mazda 3, but it's a Mazda 3 S Sedan. 🙂

I got one of the early builds though, bought it like during early January and I've deal w/ a lot of problems with the car. But I been told the later build is very smooth, so I think you should be safe.
 
Nice ride, man! Not a bad deal, either, as Edmund's puts the TMV only $350 under MSRP in my area. I'm not surprised you didn't haggle too hard, though. 😉
