Well not my nose but my cats. A few days ago my cat had cold like symptoms. Took him to the vet yesterday and he thought it was an upper resp. infection.

A few minutes ago it looked like he had a booger hanging out of his nose so being a good caretaker I got a tissue.

Turns out it was a piece of grass, stem not blade. He must have eaten it and then it went up his nose. It was stuck...caused some bleeding but at least he wont be miserable.

edit I want my $43.50 back from the vet

I had my comment all planned out when I read the thread title. It was gonna be "Are you sure you aren't a cat??". Then I was owned by reality.

The sad thing is that I was going to mention that this might the problem in your other thread, some kind of weed up the nose. You said you were taking him to the vet though, so I figured they would have noticed it :(

When I was a child, one of my dogs got a twig stuck up his nose. I was scared. He was sneezing blood and we couldn't figure out what was wrong. That was until the vet showed us the four inch long blood covered twig.

yea I even read that grass was common on a website so I looked but found nothing. He gets hairballs so he eats grass and probably puked and the grass went up his nose.

In hindsight you think the vet would have checked nose/throat. Oh well at least he is recovering.
