Just placed my 7970 order

I just found an Etailer that had 7970's in stock! Said they had 2 in stock but then I placed my order and when I refreshed the page it said out of stock... weird, Paid $558. If you type HD 7970 in amazon there is a company that has 2 Asus in stock but they want $574

edit: Forgot to add that it was an XFX... not the best I know but they usually have a lifetime guarantee and I've done 3 builds in the past 1.5yrs using their card without a single issue. If this place doesn't ship my order monday I'm going to be hot!!!!

I will wait for Newegg or Amazon. Those third-party sellers on Amazon are sometimes shady, there's no guarantee they have stock so you may be waiting awhile...
 
The place I ordered mine from had an in stock guarantee so we will see. After I was the wall of 7970's overclockers uk had in stock it became clear to me that the re-sellers already have their stock of 7970's and I guess less prominent ones aren't as worried about waiting until release day to start taking orders if my 7970 doesn't ship monday I will just file a complaint with visa and move on... no biggie.
 
I saw them on Amazon, but the shipping was over $60. No way.
Edit: the shipping is now $6.44, but the price went up to $611.49 yea sure.

Having paid $558 with shipping I'm just hoping I don't find out that they sell for $499 or something like that. Even at $525 or so I feel fine having paid a little more to know I'll be getting a card next week. I will be working out of office tomorrow and wouldn't have had a chance to place an order until about 6 p.m. I wouldn't be shocked to see them sell out of top tier brands but who knows maybe the rumors of high stock are true.
 
I got it from Electronics showplace a site which had decent reviews... DO NOT do business with them. I woke up to an email saying they were out of stock even though their site had a real time stock guarantee... Now my $550 will be on hold all week until its credited back to my account. I will file a complaint with this site.

Edit: They actually called me to apologize for the error. The guy on the phone said that they actually have shipped a few of these out and did physically take shipment of a few cards last week. He said he will call me first thing in the morning and if he cannot procure me a card tomorrow he will cancel my order.

an XFX 7970 has been listed on amazon the last couple of days, sold by third-party retailers. i don't see it listed at the moment though.
