I used my first name on the billing information section instead of my fathers, and his name is on the credit card. Everything else is the same. Should this be a problem?

It will probably fail the authorization unless your name is on the account as an authorized user.

Should be fine, they would probably just it's your father buying somethign for his son, if they even notice.

I guess I'll just leave it the way it is. It's in the third phase of the order that says in the email "Your order is being processed and will go into production once we authorize your method of payment."

Sheesh, just let it be. What's the worst thing that can happen? The authorization fails, Dell contacts you, you correct the billing name, the order proceeds. Regardless, cancelling is completely unnecessary and will only delay your order. Why would you want to do that?

Because it'll take another 3 weeks to SHIP. That's ridiculous.

It depends. If it's a corporate order they don't check because the user name and the name on the cc are seldom the same. But if it's a home purchase they will definitely check it, and it might go through might not.
