Well like the Air and stylus stuff, you have to debate the pros of stuffing the kitchen sink into your creations vs them being largely useless beyond a 'look what it can do' POV because your software sucks. The bluetooth kiddie pens for the iPad are arguably more useful in terms of scope than the S Pens for example.

I think Samsung did a great job of supplying a stylus with their devices that use it, it doesn't get in the way and it works well. If the device doesn't have the necessary hardware to use a fine tip stylus, then you're looking at an experience that equates to using a giant crayon, which is how it is on the iPad.

Yes - and as I said, in terms of actual application support the kiddie pens on the iPad (we aren't talking about the passive capacitive pens but those which have accuracy improvement and pressure sensitivity via BT) have better scope of applications than the S Pen. As I said, software > hardware kitchen sink.

I see that I can buy the Tab S 10.5 now for $447 + tax (coupon applied). But since this tablet starts with KitKat, should I wait for the 32GB or LTE?

I reference KitKat because this version from what I understand no longer allows you to run applications from SD. So the only thing you have with external storage are movies, pictures and music (just data).

I justify my early adoption of this tablet because I still intend on picking up an iPad sometime in the future. This is an amazingly good video tablet for Netflix.

I'm very satisified with this tablet, but I see myself buying a new tablet more frequently from now on. Maybe every 18 months.

I side-loaded a wifi tether app to my rooted Note 3 last night and can now connect my wifi only Tab S 10.5 anywhere I have network access. BOOM! Just loaded a crapland of movies and TV shows to the micro SD card and I'm good to go. Headed out for San Antonio for work this afternoon. Great tablet!

Samsung Kitkat still does.

Go to the application settings, then scroll down the downloaded apps list and you'll see the option to move to SD... or at least you will on my KK Note 10.1. You can check this one in the store.
