Just Overclocked

I also overclocked my 6600gt 10% @ 550 & 1000. I played BF2 for over 1 hour and nothing bad happened. things seemed good and fast. I also put my memory to 1T and went from there. My temps for CPU stayed under 38c and my video card near 80c.

Is this a good overclock and should I keep it if all seems well. I used the bios and just put it to manual and raised the FSB from 200 to 240, that's all I did besides disabling 2T.

Is this the right way to overclock. First Time.....

Oh I ran memtest for several hours and no errors and prime95 I have tried but after several minutes nothing happens just says testing. Am I supposed to leave it on the torture test for a long time? With I get more text saying what it is doing, and do I need to run prime95 if all is well gaming and temp wise?......Thanks

Use Prime 95. Run the small FFT test and large FFT tests for 24 hours each. If they can run for 24 hours without any errors then you've got a stable overclock.

Can I run those while playing games and such? What does those tests do exactly? Stress the processor?
