Chip is at 2.4 48 Celcius

240*10 multiplier

HTT 1000MHZ

board Asus A8V

Quick question why is my 250mhz ram coming up as 120mhz when I set the ratio 1:1???
Please help check the sig

3-4-4-10 memory i could get tighter timings but havn't attempted it just want to see 240mhz under cpuZ to show that it is ddr 480!!!

Please help

vcore is great, you can leave it stock untill 2.5ghz
memory timings should be 166x2 for ddr400,thats what I have mine at
1:1 ratio is super slow. but strangly it should be 200mhz? wonder what happened
after reading memory guides in still no good with memory devisors: [

For the A8V 1:1 means DDR200, so you want to set it 2:1 to run at normal DDR400 (or DDR480 with your overlclock).

Ok, I did 220*11 and memory at 2:1. Mem shows 220 as clock. Works great. Temp=53 and 60 celcius under load. I have a zalman CU-7000 and AS5. Should I add more AS5? Are these temps fine?

PS: got a 6076 with the x800xt but had a few artifacts on the water monster test.

You want to leave it as 1:1

With the CPU at 2400 (10 X 240 Mhz FSB)

1:1 memory = 240 Mhz X 2 or 480 Mhz DDR

HT would equal 4 X 240 Mhz = 960 Mhz (not 1000)

My A64 3000 (2Ghz stock) runs at the exact same speeds as your 3500+

Edit: Nm on the 1:1 didn't catch (quote - Quick question why is my 250mhz ram coming up as 120mhz when I set the ratio 1:1??? ). Asus must handle that part different, eveything else should be correct.

1:1 typically means FSB : Memory or vise versa. Don't understand why Asus would do otherwise.
