http://www.viewsonic.com/products/crt_g220fb.htm

it was 434 bucks at newegg and i got the black one to match my case/keyboard/mouse
i just didn't like the lcd deals out there and figured i had plenty of room for this 20"x20" cube
i can't wait
also got a prescott 2.8e

i'll only have a ti4800 running it now, but that should be good for most stuff i do

anyone try this monitor yet ?

very nice monitor.
Good color reproduction, I'm really sick of my aperture grill's convergence.
Plus I have to wait 15-30 minutes for the monitor to warm up before the colors align themselves and for the convergence to fix.

cool

yeah i don't think it matters how big it is to me

it is basically a 20"x20" box

it is gonna look like a monster next to my 17" tho haha

maybe i'll pick up a 21" lcd when they drop below 600 bucks and are atleast 12ms

i hope fedex don't drop it or anything hehe
it is like 60lbs

i hope dead pixels aren't too common with new crt's these days

should be here tuesday/wednesday
i can't wait

Yep, my second monitor is actually another viewsonic 19" LCD, VX900. I use it as a second monitor but mostly as a TV combining it with a viewsonic Nextvision N6 and a combo JVC SVHS Progressive Scan DVD / VCR player HR-XVS44U. I couldnt be happier and my setup is far cheaper and far more flexible than a comparable single solution setup.
