I have a Sandisk Sansa e250 on the way, and reading the manual online I see that it has the date and time as well as its firmware upgradeable. Has anyone figured out how to get an alarm on there?
 
I have an e250 - I don't know about the alarm. AFAIK there are no external audio "speakers" so I don't know how much use this would provide (unless you sleep with your headphones on...)
 
Hmmm, maybe they could make the screen come on and blink or something. Just an idea. I'm surprised theres' no beep when selections are made or somthing. If there is they could use whatever "speaker" that made the beeps be the alarm...
 
I have an E270, GREAT PLAYER for anyone reading this btw.

As for the alarm, I think you need to hook it up to a stereo with an av(?) cable. I use one in the weight room anyways.
