I am so happy, I just got optimum online available to my house and I just ordered it. Whooohooo.

Nice! I read that Optimum Online is one of the fastest cable providers in the nation. Too bad they cap the upload speed.:frown: But then so does everyone else...

Look out for some great d/l speeds don't be surprised to see d/l speeds that will blow most @HOME cable away. 5000+ d/l is normal and great pings to. Man I wish I lived on the east coast

Around 128KB/sec. You should should get download speeds over 4Mbits or 500KB/sec. I've hit 6Mbits several times but not recently.

no cable here in brooklyn for some time. but i have dsl, and am happy with the service, not the speeds.

why not do a self install..

it only takes like literally 10 min...

that is if you got the NIC card already installed on your PC...

it's connect modem install software.. and your browsing on the web

Are you sure its 128 KB/sec? Is that Kilobits? I've gotten upto around 90-100 Kbytes/sec.
