Just ordered an Eee PC 901

I just ordered this Eee PC from newegg - http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16834220355

And I was just wondering about the SSD drives. About how long should they last with occasional use? I am getting this mostly just to play around with, as I already have a 17" notebook (nice and big, but too big sometimes - one of the reasons I got this EeePC).

Also, what kind of RAM should I get to upgrade to 2gb? I can get OCZ DDR2 667 SO-Dimms at work at cost, if those will work.

Thanks.

and ssd should like quite a few years. should be nothing to worry about

thanks.

I knew it takes SO-Dimms, mostly just wondering if DDR2-667 SO-dimms will work, or do I need a different speed of memory for this laptop?

The SSD will be fine. The whole can-only-be-written-to-X-amount-of-times is way over rated. Unless you plan on reinstalling your OS a couple times a day, every day you will be fine.
