Hopefully I wont get the "infamous" buzzing! I hear that the PQ is nothing short of fantastic (too bad I missed out on all the KRP-500M sales) and that the panel itself is something to marvel at... Hopefully I made the right choice....
 
I love my 58B550. Mine buzzes, but no one sits directly in front of it so we never notice. It's very strange how incredibly direction it is. 5* off center is enough to make it unnoticeable.

The colors on mine are amazing, and the blacks incredible. I've been excited since I bought it lol.
 
Those are pretty solid tv's. Don't be scurred to return that turd if it buzzes profusely. I was pondering one of these or a '10 sammy or panny before I found my 500m.
 
wow... abes of maine REALLY pushes hard to sell their overpriced accessories... Today (ordered the T.V. last night) I got a call from Abes of Maine saying that the buzzing is because of an issue with the electricity and that I need a good surge protector bla bla bla. And then he said "I need to upgrade my shipping because the 'free shipping' will not wait while I inspect the unit". In fact he said once the item has been opened, it CANNOT be returned. If I got a bad unit, I'm SOL.... wow abes of maine... it does NOT reflect the reputation I've read!!!!
