Just ordered a pair of Logitech G930s. Did I make the right choice?

I know a lot of people don't necessarily like wireless audio solutions, but in my case, wireless is kind of a necessity right now and audio quality isn't a problem -- If I need audio quality, I can use my normal pair of headphones.

I've had a pair of Corsair Vengeance 1500s in the past(about 2 years ago) that randomly decided to break on me in slightly less than a year, there was a shortage in the mic itself that finally gave out. The same thing happened with the headphones I'm coming from now, the Logitech G430s, however that was user error. I tripped on the cable and kicked it extremely hard, and while the headphones still work fine after some bending, after about 4 months of doing so, there is still a shortage there and I can't deal with it anymore.

Since the 430s served me well before I broke them myself, I decided to get the G930s without even thinking twice, reason I didn't go for the G35 is as stated before, I don't need wired because I'm not looking for audio quality and I don't want any wires.

However, I made a mistake and decided to research the 930s AFTER I bought them. And everything seems half and half. The main issues everyone is speaking about seems to be wireless interference and build quality not being that great, so now I'm wondering if there are any products to look for.

I just bought a 250GB Samsung 850 EVO along with this order, so I'm not looking for an extremely high priced, high-end headset D:

But any recommendations $70 and below (hopefully on Amazon guys!) is what I'm looking for. 😀

Comfort and wireless is basically the two main things that I need.

Thanks for any help!

I'm not going to say they are perfect but I've never experienced any wireless interference at all with the 930's. Decent positional audio, comfortable, not sure you can beat them at a lower price. I'm no audiophile though. Only real issue I've had has been isolated to my current 5960X system, I sometimes experience a repeated appear/disappear of the device in playback devices. Closing the Logitech software solves this, I've never managed to pin down what causes it to happen though, its sporadic.

I own these wireless head phones.
I am on my second pair and they are 2.5 years in and still going strong.
I love the sound, the comfort and the battery life.
You will not be disappointed.
Range is around 30-40 feet.

They have decent sound and are generally good. I don't like the vinyl on them, gets sweaty after awhile and it has cracked and pealed. They are kind of flimsy, but they haven't broken on me in 3 years(minus a 5 month use of some Corsair 2100s) of daily use. Like the Corsair 2100s, I get some dead spots in my apartment with them, on a rare occasion(few times a year) I get some sort of interference from a neighbour or something, most of the time I get interruptions while using the Microwave.

I have been pleased overall with them, really like the freedom they give.

Since I mentioned the Corsair 2100s: I think their audio is better than the G930. The cloth earcups don't cause sweating and are more comfortable. However, they broke on me after 5ish months. It was my third pair of Corsair Headphones and none of them lasted more than 1 year before something broke with normal use. So I would recommend against them, they are good headphones, but the build quality sucks.

I've use them and have had mine over 2 years. Work great, sound great and it's awesome having range so I can walk around my house while talking with the people I game with.

I have had some wireless interference and I found the 2.4ghz channel 11 on my wireless router to be causing some issues of it was placed within about 5 feet of the receiver. I changed the channel to 3 and no more problems. Just an FYI for the feedback issue.

Only problem I've had with mine are if I'm using them and then decide to take them off and unplug the wireless transmitter, often the game/video I'm playing has no sound unless I manually go into the sound control panel to reset the output or close whatever I have running and then reopen it.

I have had that happen. Sometimes I can switch to my Onboard Audio Outputs with no issue, but sometimes I need to unplug the wireless transmitter for it to switch. Games always need to be restarted for the switch to work. Sometimes in online video I need to reload the video to make audio work when switching to the G930, but not the other way around, also some websites require me to reload every video every time I resume or even start a new video after making that kind of switch from Onboard to G930.

I think it might be a Windows issue or perhaps some kind of Digital Rights issue.(that thingy that prevents copying, which I forget the name for)
