I am looking for a quiet air cooling solution for the AMD 9850 BE. I also ordered the MSI K9A2 Platinum to put it in.

How is the stock cooler??

What are you guys using to cool this CPU?? I need it to be quiet.

Thanks

I'm using a Zalman 9700NT (set fan speed to 50% and its less audible then my 17db case fans on low) Keeps my 3ghz OC to 34C idle and 54C load (50% fan speed) the 9850BE is a good chip and i find it easier to cool then my 3800 x2 @ 2.8 (voltage whore damn Toledos)

I'm using an Arctic Cooling 64 Pro. So far at 2.8ghz it has yet to go above 55C. But, I'd give the stock cooler a try, it's a pretty decent looking 4 heat pipe unit. I'd try that first and then see if you think you need a better performing cooler.
