This may qualify for lukewarm deal at US$1810. (Feel free to post it there if you think so.)

Now that this unit is discontinued in Canada, the list price has been lowered in Canadian dollars to $1000 less than the US list price in US dollars. Go figure. So, essentially, if you pay retail, the same TV costs twice as much in the US. From the web prices though, it US prices are "only" 50% more than in Canada.
