Just one more Calculus 1 Problem

Going through the homework right now and came across another tough problem thats worth some solid extra points that I can use some help with.

Verify that every function of the form y= a sin (5t) + b cos(5t) is a solution to the differential equation ((d^2)(y))/((d)(t^2)) = -25y. Then use this fact to find the solution which also satisfies the intial conditions y(0)=3 and y'(0) =0

I'm pretty sure that ((d^2)(y))/((d)(t^2)) is just y' right?
