Just noticed this with Windows 8 (waking up other member)

When ever I open up libraries and click on one of the homegroup members, it will wake up that member if its off. (completely powered down or in sleep mode)

That's handy

Only thing that sucks is when I'm just poking around I have to go around powering of all the boxes I want shut down completely.
