I dropped the handle of "Eno" back in 1998, because I didn't do justice to the name. I figured I'd take it back when I became more civil. Well, looks like I missed my chance, eh?

Guess I didn't deserve it anyway. Kinda doubt this new charactor does, since he couldn't even be bothered to capitalize his name! :disgust:

Yeah but he hasn't posted in over 2 years - I'm sure the mods could check his last visited date and maybe....work something out for ya~ ;)

No, I truly don't deserve it. Eno is a really decent, talented, nice guy. I just had to drop the handle out of respect for him.

Eno calaberated with Bowie later, in the "Heroes" era. Bowie wrote this about Warhol early on:

Andy Warhol
  • Like to take a cement fix
    Be a standing cinema
Dress my friends up just for show
See them as they really are
Put a peephole in my brain
Two New Pence to have a go
I'd like to be a gallery
Put you all inside my show

    Andy Warhol looks a scream
    Hang him on my wall
    Andy Warhol, Silver Screen
Can't tell them apart at all

    Andy walking, Andy tired
    Andy take a little snooze
Tie him up when he's fast asleep
Send him on a pleasant cruise
When he wakes up on the sea
Be sure to think of me and you
He'll think about paint and he'll think about glue
What a jolly boring thing to do

    Andy Warhol looks a scream
    Hang him on my wall
    Andy Warhol, Silver Screen
Can't tell them apart at all (chorus x2)
Listen to Taking Tiger Mountain By Strategy for an awesome example of what Eno is about. I've got nothing good to say about Warhol.

See if "Brian Peter George St John le Baptiste de la Salle Eno" is taken :D

I am a big Eno fan from way back when. I was into progressive rock big time, Roxy Music, Emerson Lake & Palmer etc. Great music.
