Just noticed Ad-Aware hasnt been updated in quite awhile...

Last I read is that they're on "hiatus".
I've been using spybot (google it) and it's much eaier to update and works every bit as well.

I just downloaded this spybot and OMGolly, I had no idea how much spyware was on my PC. Its gone now. A very thorough (maybe too thorough ) program. It even erased my history folder. I must check those settings again.

I tried Ad-Aware on a hotel's "business computer". Found BDE, Gator, and various other pieces of spyware I tremble at. Needless to say, I did not enter in any of my passwords on that machine.

Apparently they are rewriting the WHOLE thing for 6.0, because the old engine couldn't keep up. It should be ready this month for subscribers and next month freeware.
