Just not happy with these Venice temps

right, its probably around 20-22 degrees in my room right now (celcius)

my venice, which at the moment is using cool n quiet is running 1250mhz @ 1.12v according to everest.

idle temperature? 34 degrees. my old newcastle didnt idle that hight at full speed.

this is a new motherboard though, i used to have an ASUS skt754 mobo, now its a MSI K8N SLI

is it more likely that the mobo sensors are off, or is my 7000Cu + AS5 (applied as the instructions direct you) just a bodge job.

(at full speed...250x10 = 2500Mhz @ 1.45volts (3.3% above stock volts))

maybe the sink is unbalanced? that could increase temps by quiet a bit. it may also be the motherboard sensors messing with you.

i hope thats the case....ive always been suspicious of MSI sensors. even tho this is a top tier board

basically is it safe to say that if the computers not crashing or anything, and it primes for as long as you can be bothered waiting, and it can run loops of S&M all night, then it doesnt really matter about the temps?

i mean ive not seen it go over 45 yet

C'mon man..... 34 degrees? And you're worried? It's just a number, and a decent one at that. If you weren't stable with those temps heat is the LAST thing I would consider.
