I've been building this computer from everyone's advice here at anandtech, and this is what I am about to order from Newegg.com. Please tell me if there is anything I am missing to get this computer fully operational. Ex. Cables, nuts, bolts, screws, or actual hardware parts. These are the pieces I already have. Nokia 21'' 445pro, Klipsch 4.1 Speakers, 3x 512 Muskin DDR 2100 sticks, Radeon 8500 Video Card.

This is all the stuff Im about to order, with everyones approval. Please post with suggestions, I don't want to make a $2000 mistake. Thanks

What about the case? If you do not have one already I would suggest the Enlight 7237. If you want a GOOD case, go for an ATC 201. These are the best cases I have ever dealt with. Slide out, aluminum, blowhole, fans in front of HDDs.

looks real good... Maxtor HDD might be another choice.. but other than that..

oh yeah.. what Video?

and make sure the fan BLOWS not sucks on that SK-6.. so face the label down 😉

I'd get that SK6 with a slower fan. That Delta screams. Have you got a case and PSU yet? I'd rather have a Turtle Beach than an Audigy, but thats just because I dont trust Creative anymore (I currently own a SB Live and Klipsch 2.1s, and when it goes into crackling mode, its fscking loud, btw, this is on an P4 with Intel chipset, so it isnt just a Via issue).

I don't know any REAL-WORLD performance hit on 24-inch IDE cable. But if I remember correctly, 18-inch is the upper range within spec. Otherwise, you are good to go 🙂
