Just Messed up and order on Amazon

I gave my old address as the shipping address and now it won't let me change the shipping address. "We are preparing these items for shipment and this portion of your order cannot be canceled or changed. "

The billing address is correct. the shipping is not. Does anyone know if Amazon uses USPS? because if they do that would be better because my old address is forwarded to my current one. If not will UPS's or fedex's brains explode because the shipping address was wrong? what do I do. this sucks. I really need this item fast and need it to go smoothly and that was a huge failure.

They do use USPS occasionally.

If they use UPS or FedEx, after you get the tracking number from Amazon, simply call them and have them change the shipping address. You will be responsible for any additional shipping charges depending on how much further the package has to travel.

if you use the cheapest shipping it is almost always usps unless its a large item

who do I call amazon or fedex?

You would call UPS or Fedex with the tracking number. Depending on which carrier they use, obviously.

yeah it was..

I called dhl..some lady changed the shipping address...then her supervisor calls and tells me I can't do that and tells me to change it with amazon and amazon won't let me change the shipping address because it already went through the shipping process.
