Majority of outsourced jobs are not going overseas. Jsst to companies that are able to convince management that they can do it better or cheaper than existing inhouse staff.

I work for SprintPCS as a trouble specialist in chicago and I went to work today and the VC of the compney was there with a big annocement ..... the are closing the center on Aug 3 and moving 1100 positions to India ... people in my field make $22+ an hour and the the people in India will make less than $2 per HR ..... been with Sprint for 3 1/2 years and we are all getting the shaft .... managers and all .... I am very capable of getting a new job but the way me and my fellow workers are being treated is driving me nuts ...... thank U GW ...... fu*k fighting over oil and take care of the Tax Payers and the citizens of this fair land.... I will not vote for GW...... I am a 2nd generation immigrant and belive in american way of life ..... it pisses me off when people have anti american views ...... thats my rant for today.

You say you believe in the American way of life. Yet you don't seem to understand it. YOUR view is one of the most anti-American I've seen on this thread. The "American" way of life is a capitalistic free enterprise system that highlights ingenuity. If you can save a buck going to India, then that's what most Americans, were they running the company, would DO.

Now I'm sorry your job is going overseas, but you claim yourself you'll be able to find another one.

The only facet of American life you seem to have fully asimilated is the feeling of being "owed" something by companies you work for, and the ability to whine about it.
