Just like that! My first online traffic school!

Took me about 20 minutes to do, I didn't bother to read all the material on the webpage...just keep taking quiz and finally the exam.....The certificate is supposed to send out tomorrow! The only thing I am worrying about is that the court that issues my ticket is "pasadena superior court" and the court listed in the traffic school is simply "pasadena court"....I hope they mean the same..
*finger crossed*

the one i did online you had to sit at each page for like an hour each...I just ate a sandwhich or something, heh

i am luckier than u...I did the whole thing in around 20 minutes 🙂
Now...I only have to make sure the court name is the same as listed in the traffic school......
plz..god, give me a break..

Ive never hear of an online traffic school? Can anyone do this? Wonder if it will help lower my insurance rates?

Oh come on now. I'm sure we all learned so much from reading the DMV handbook. IMHO, I learned the most about driving from actually doing it for so many years, and listening to what other (more experienced) drivers said.

Traffic school online is a crock, but if it gets a minor traffic offense dismissed, I'm all for it. I had to do it for a BS ticket I got for driving on the shoulder to pass a line of cars trying to get into the left-turn lane from the straightaway lane I was in. I did the traffic school online for $20, paid my $120 court fees and I was free and clear.

In a case like that, it would have been pretty fvcked up if I had to go to court, pay my ticket off AND get my insurance jacked up over such a minor offense. There's a lot of other traffic offenses that SHOULD get the book thrown at them, though...

no no you have me wrong. Im not saying anything against traffic school. In fact it got me out of a speeding ticket 5 years ago. But taking it online in 20 minutes while skipping all the reading material is just stupid. That's what I was talking about. It's a tool that will make a better driver out of you because every little bit of information helps.

You've got a point, but the point I was trying to make is that there's a difference between "book smart" and "street smart". Personally, I believe I learned much more from actually being out there driving in different weather conditions, times of day, dealing with various situations on the road, than from any driver's education class.

Learning this stuff online or in a classroom is a good thing, but I believe it's going to be more easily forgotten than a lesson you learn "behind the wheel", such as almost rear-ending someone because you followed too closely.
