And I want to take it and give my wife my TL.
Chrysler Town & Country Touring.

That thing is sweet. Gorgeous interior and a nice ride too.
Never met a minivan that can corner like this.
The ambient roof lighting and flip down DVD screens make it look a little like a club, but it will be awesome on long trips.

Happy with my choice.
Screw Honda and Toyota.

USA! USA! USA!

:p

The Losers

Where Chrysler did make a showing was on the Worst Cars for the Money list. These cars are despised by reviewers, and over the long-term, cost more to own (sometimes much more) than the class average. The Chrysler Sebring, which car experts deride for its cheap interior and poor performance, is the worst midsize car for the money. Not only is the Sebring unpopular with reviewers, it also has high ownership costs, due in part to its rate of depreciation. Chrysler also earned Worst Car honors for its minivans; both the Chrysler Town & Country and the Dodge Grand Caravan finished at the bottom of their class in the awards race.

I'm generally for Chrysler (last 4 cars for my wife and myself have been Dodge or Chrysler)...just don't like the T&C.

Chili Palmer: What is that?
Rental Car Attendant: It's an Oldsmobile Silhouette.
Chili Palmer: I ordered a Cadillac.
Rental Car Attendant: Oh, well, you got the Cadillac of minivans.

Well, you should be able to carry full 4x8 sheets of plywood and drywall.
You should also be able to fit an ATV inside there if you pull out the seats too...

And, you'll get better MPG than most full sized vans and pickup trucks!

I suggest you start ATV shopping.

<--- drives a 2008 Grand Caravan.
<--- knows the benefits.

Cars are tools to me. Minivans are much more useful than coupes or sedans, and therefore better tools.

Having said that, though, I'm up for my vehicle renewal at work soon. Depending on what's available I may select an SUV just for a change of pace. I've been driving Grand Caravans (a 2005, then a 2008) for 6 years now.

I drove the previous years model for a full month last summer and came away liking it far more than I had thought. It didn't exactly corner well, brake well, or that quick (not the 4.0l engine), nor good on fuel, but damn it was comfortable and did every thing we asked of it. It probably would have driven significantly better with good tires on it and a lot less weight in the back. Still for soaking up highway hours and just driving around it was great! I actually miss it sometimes.

glad you like it. hopefully you'll still like it a year from now. i know Chrysler has been trying hard to advertise its minivans in a way to appeal to men.... i think they call them them man vans now. :p
