just installing setiq - need some help

I have setiq installed on my local network and most everything seems to be running well.
I can't however, figure out how to log onto the http administration part from any machine other than the local one.

I have no firewall software on the setiq server machine...

Is there anything I'm likely to have missed or do I need to post more details??

Hi,

it could be the subnet mask setting.

It's a bit confusing, don't put the real subnet mask in, put 0.0.0.0

eg..

IP & Subnet Mask 87.0.30.40, 0.0.0.0

cheers,

Col.

p.s.

Don't forget to restart SetiQ afterwards.

Can you see the HTTP pages?
If so all you need is a pass word setup and it should work 🙂

Edit --from the SetiQ pages

<< Set the "http proxy" to be the IP address and port # of the SetiQueue system. If you are using the default settings the port number is 5517.
The server's static IP address works best, but if you need you can also use the system computer name if the network is properly configured and in the case on a single system setup with DHCP the loop-back address 127.0.0.1 can be used.

Or try 192.168.0.1: the most common server ip for a home lan or localhost:

It seems I was forgetting to put http:// in front of the ip address

😱😱😱😱😱

Now, it is working well.

Most of my wu's will continue to go through Orangekid's proxy for quite a while, though(Thanks Orangekid!)

If I want to manually move a WU from one queue to another, do I simply need to copy the WU and corresponding ini file to the other queue directory?
