Just installed XP, now my ATI 3d rage II doesn't work with the dual monitor

I installed the driver from the XP cd but the driver details give me an error that says unable to start hardware (code 10). I un and re installed it but nothing seems to work. I double checked the connections and still nothing. It worked fine with win98 but not with XP. The graphics card driver is on the XP list though. Any remedies? Its my second video card for my other monitor and its a PCI. any help would be apperciated it and bumps too.
