Just installed WinXP. It's pretty tight I must say. One question though.

How do I make it so that in IE files don' t automatically download into a temp folder? I check internet options, didn't see it in there...


Is there any cool things XP has that 2k didn't have? Isn't there an mp3 player built in other than windows media player?

Nothing other than WMP for mp3 files. As far as IE downloading into a temp file I don't think there is a way to stop it.

I checked the thread on OS forum, didn't see anything about the mp3 player. Where is it?

Sorry...It's in the new XP Powertoys. There should be a link in the thread that's stuck to the top of the forum.

It's a toolbar for the taskbar that adds mp3 player buttons. It needs some work, but I think it's a pretty good start.

Maybe I'm just dumb but I downloaded and installed powertoys (the calculator RULES btw) and I don't see the mp3 player toolbar!
