I am missing drivers for my modem: Rockwell HCF 56k Data Fax PCI Modem

I cannot find XP drivers for this. Can anyone supply me with a link to where i can find it?

Thanks alot.

It's a Rockwell modem, you should be able to find it easily. You'd really be in deep shyat if it was an unbranded modem.

it says that it cannot find the device, therefore i cannot connect. =P can you give me a link to where i can get XP drivers?

It sounds like an interesting problem. It almost sounds as if it could be hardware related. My first suggestion would be to remove the card and put it back in and if that has no effect, then try a different slot. XP should at a minimum detect the modem. If you can finally get XP to see the modem, it will probably install a generic driver for it. Conexant is now the company that designs and supports these Rockwell modems, it was spun off from Rockwell some time ago. They have XP generic drivers at their website: http://www.conexant.com/default.sph/SaServletEngine.class/Web/driverdownload/driverdownload.jsp Good luck, but it almost sounds as if you have a hardware problem.

Try it in a different PCI slot, also try going to System info, hit refresh I did this with mine and it got detected that way.
