well, it came pre-installed with sp1

aparently sp1 in xp x64 is the equivalent of sp2 in regular winxp

Does XP run faster? or what is the big advantage?

Excuse my ignorance, but I just don't see what the big deal is if all my apps and most apps available are still 32 bit.
