Just installed new AMD 3500+ Venice, Problems

Alright, I was really stoked to get a new Venice 3500+, an upgrade from my 3200+ Winchester. But I just installed it onto my mobo and it goes through all the normal things, until it got to a blue screen about 2 seconds after getting onto my desktop. The blue screen says "crq_not_less_or_equal", anyone know what that means? I also got a different error message the first time I tried it, something like "..._corrupt_list". All of my information is in my signature, I want to overclock this puppy, but it's erroring out on me before I can do anything. Please help...

I'm trying to update my bios, but my Floppy Drive isn't reading the disk. I'm going to try with a CD and see if I can just get it up and running.

Edit: Could I use a Portable USB Drive to do this?
