My video output over DVI seems to be shifted to the right by roughly ten pixels - and the pixels that should be on the far right (for example, the scroll bar in a full screen web browser) are on the far left part of the screen. Furthermore, I tested out a few other resolutions (640x480, 1024x768, 840x525, 1280x1024) and all of those are just fine. (Monitor is a 2005FPW, native resolution is 1680x1050)
Needless to say, this problem only popped up after installing the new drivers. I find it hard to believe though that they didn't check the drivers to make sure they're sending out the signal correctly over DVI...
What in the world could be causing this? 😕
Edit: This is completely unrelated (or so I hope!), but it seems that my 6800GT is now idling at 70°C?? I'd been running it at Ultra speeds constantly in the past, and it would always idle right around 60°C (it's at stock right now). Are these beta drivers really that bad?
😕
