Just installed my Alpha 6035 and my temp raised big time!?

Hi, I just installed my Alpha cooler today. But then when I load up Windows and check SiSoft Sandra for my CPU temp, it was (and is now) 42c! This is terribly high considering the Alpha....!! I have a KT7-Raid and a Thunderbird 750 system. Can someone please let me know what I might've done wrong? Thanks, any help is really appreciated.

what was it before? The temperature doesn't look bad . IMO.

What I did was flip the fan around. Now it is sucking the air and blowing upwards. Before I had it blow onto the CPU. As of typing this now, my CPU is 750@855 and its currently 30c. I'm gonna try to heavy load it and see what it reaches.
