Just installed linux - a few questions

#1) I have 2 monitors & linux got the orientation mixed up - how do I switch the orientation (which is to the left, which to the right), and how do I change which one is my "default" monitor?

#2) It didn't reconize my mouse as a "Intellimouse Optical", but rather a standard 3-button mouse. Is there a way to fix this?

Uhmmm ... Pick up the monitor on the left, and move it to the right 😀
Ok, seriously.
I haven't tried dual monitors, but you might start with the howto: Using the Xinerama Extensions to MultiHead XFree86 V. 4.0+

What's it not doing right?
During the install, I ussually pick the MS Intellimouse option for my logitech scroll mice.
You might try mouseconfig from a console window.

Thanks for the info, I'm reading on it now.

I tried the mouseconfig, but it was an unreconized command. The mouse is working, but the scroll wheel & the extra 2 buttons don't work.
