just installed Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure

While this game had it's share of problems, I always thought the good far outweighed the bad. Playing thru it a 2nd time I'm still enjoying the hell out of it. Combat system is pretty good, story is well written and it has some of the best characters and voice acting in any game I've played. I can't get the graphics to go above 1024x768 but it still looks pretty decent. Camera really sucks at some times. But I think I could play it every 3 or so years and still enjoy it every time.

Game got only decent reviews, but I thought it was of the better overall games in the past few years. Anyone else here liked it? I don't remember the resolution being locked so low the first time around though hummm...

awesome sound track too, not just a bunch of songs like in GTA, they actually fit in with tge game and their placement is pretty much perfect.

I have it (GoGamer sale from some time back), but it never got to the top of my priority queue. I guess I'll have to give it a chance.

I can't really say if you'll like it, it's very different from just about any game I've played. If you already have it though I would definitely say give it a shot, you have nothing to lose. If you end up liking it, towards the end it has a few super super bad ass levels, and the ending is actually quite good. It's an obvious console port, I was just playing and one of the help boxes popped up and said "crouch and when you near enemy the controller will vibrate" lol.
