Just installed a second hd...

I just bought and installed a new harddrive yesterday so there's 2 hd in my comp now. Right now I have it installed so that all of the 3.5" slots are filled; one floppy, and 2 hd's, one on top of the other. Now this was my first time installing a hd, and I noticed the hd's get quite hot. So I'm wondering, with the way the 2 hd's are installed, will heat be a problem?

Hard Disks can definately get hot, if you do experience any problems you can always get a low profile hard disk cooler from an online retailer. If that fails, convert one to a 5 inch slot, get some long ide cables and split the drives up.

Job Done.
Better safe than sorry, Hard drives are a bit of an investment so perhaps protecting it by keeping it cool is a good idea. Plus i had an LS120 Drive spark across the gap to my hard disk placed in the same arrangement. It put a hole in both circuit boards. The LS120 lived and still works but the hard disk died. Be warned. LOL. I should think it will happen though.
