Will be buying these this week......
Main components: (UPDATED)

ABIT "NF7-S" V2 or DFI Infinity still undecided
AMD 45 Watt Mobile Athlon XP 2600+ or the XP 35W 2400
Thermaltake EXTREME VOLCANO 12 --> Still being considered
NEC 8X DVD+RW/-RW Drive
SAMSUNG 80GB 7200RPM SATA
OCZ Perf. Series Rev 3 PC3200x 2 instead of Geil
SilverStone Tech. 400W w/ APF or Fortron Source 400W
POWERCOLOR ATI RADEON 9800PRO

Others:
Mid Tower, floppy, zip drive, fans, couple in couple out with fan controller, 21" monitor...etc

Will build this in a heated room (I'll turn on the space heater in a room to reach summer time temps), so I will know what's the highest stable overclock for the machine on hot days.

Last overclock I did was back in the days, TBird 1Ghz@1.3Ghz.....

Any tips on overclocking on NF7-s?
How does the Extreme Volcano 12 Fit in MID tower cases? Will it hit the PS?
Does lapping help?

i have a full size enermax case and i had to take off the psu(just to get it in, then i put it back on). but it should fit. as long as theres atleast 4cm between the socket and the psu it will fit.

How are the Geil Value series memory? Would Corsair be better?

I don't know about that PSU, seems case fans will have to pull heat away from it's HS either way, and it's very expensive for no reputation. I'd probably opt for a silent 120mm fortron 400W or a zalman 400W, same purpose but less money and known build.

I also would stay away from NF7-S because they have cheapened the board and many, including myself, report hot boards and low FSB capable/ Get the DFI Ultra Infinity II just awesome and pasive cooled chipset.

RAM geil is poor and some report incompatiblity problems with nforce II. Get some hyperX or corsiar. The best memory is KHX3000 found here for $111 http://www.lacc.com/product.asp?pf_id=KHX3000512
It's BH-5 and will run 2-2-2 at 3500. Awesome stuff don't believe the 3000 marking.

As far as HS, get a new thermalright 947u heatsink only $19.99 and one of the top 2 or 3 HS http://www.svc.com/thslsoco.html

Other than those four things looks great.:)

I thought NF7-S was already stable and bugs have been fixed? Well I'll look into DFI for more info.
Fortron and Silverstone are both made by Enhance right...hopefully they should be the same, but I just noticed that Fortron have a control knob for the fan..I might get it coz of that...
as for the HSF...I wanted the heatsink with fan and fan controller together...what's the next best option?

with the HSF combo I would like to have the knob control on the 3.5" drive too....would be nice to set it to max when playing games or when it's hot and working on something....set it lower when I want it nice and quiet...Any fans that come with controller knob on the floppy drive space?
As for the MB, wow I thought Rev 2 was the "minimal bugs" version...how does ASUS (A7N8X or A7N8X-E) vs DFI (NF II Ultra Infinity) mobo look then. Which is better in overclocking and stability in OC?

i recommend the thermalright 947u at svc.com for $20.. Pick whatever fan you want like the zalman 36 db @ 53 cfm and use speedfan to control the fan speed..

So which is the Best MB for overclocking and stability since NF7-S v2 components looks like its getting "downgraded"? DFI/ASUS/EPOX...I'd like to hit 2.4GHz if I can with no or minimal stability problems otherwise I'll settle for 2.2 or 2.3
