Bin Laden denies involvement in attacks but supports them

Even if that was true, I see no difference between the two

The modus operandi of Bin Laden and his operatives have ALWAYS been to remain quiet or deny any terrorist acts that they commit. A New York Times expert made that commentary today, and it is true. They never claimed responsibility for the WTC bombing, the Cole attack, or the embassy attacks in Africa.

He wouldn't be that stupid. But if he is responsible, he and his cronies will pay.

He may be involved but will not say he was because I believe that doing so would cut his "funds" (if you will) from those countries that support him (if they are not invovled). As Bush stated earlier, any country helping a terriorist group will be treated as a terriorist group will be treated with retaliation. It would be unwise for any country to try to provoke the US (and nearly ever world power) at this time.

Crazy? Yes. Stupid? Well, not quite...

What???
You actually think he could say he did it and hide this time? I'm sorry, if we let that happen, i would haveta go up to bush an smak him. This terrorist act is unprecidented. We arn't gonna let it slip and sure as h*|| wont let someone "hide" and then claim to do it. Not this time.

Even if he did try to, he's allready being monitored and our millitary forces are /already/ deployed. he has no chance to hide. This is the first time we've flexed our full military might, and by god, a man like that [if he is guilty] isn't just gonna walk...

ps. sorry about the anger... but i can't believe you could think something like that. We've never had our millitray fully mobilized as it is now. We are NOT going to let him get away. Sorry... just ain't gonna happen

<< Terrorists are crazy, but not stupid.

Nobody's going to admit to sh*t.
>>

On the contrary. Someone will take credit for this sooner or later.

i doubt anyone will admit anything, even if proof is found. at least not until retaliation is threatened or about to occur.

Someone who has a death wish will admit to this. I mean c'mon... You (The terrorist(s)) just awoke "the sleeping giant." Whoever admits know that they're gonna pay and almost the whole world is against them. You (The terrorist(s)) have probably just killed over 10k people. Everyone in the US is fvcking pissed off like crazy. Everyone in the US wants revenge. Well most people want revenge and are pissed off crazy but you know what I mean. This is like an automatic death sentence, an immediate execution by almost anyone you see. Whoever admits to this is automatically dead. The President himself said that the people involved will be hunted down and punished. I mean some states executes people for 1 murder, we're talking about over 10,000 here. Also you gotta add in the catastrophic destruction of all those landmarks. So you tell me who the hell would admit to this heinous attack!
