I just hooked up the SMC 4-Port 10/100Mbps Broadband router to mine and my daughters machine,,,
Everything went smooth got both our computers hooked up to my @home cable net,,,,but when I did the winipcfg and released and renewed all,,,somehow I cannot retrieve my @home mail in my netscape now,,if I unhook the barracade router and hook the nic card back into my cable modem directly I can get my email,,,
SMC techs tried to assign numbers into my network settings to try to get it going,,but that made me lose net altogether,,so they put the default back to assign automatically,,and that got my cable net going again,,and told me to call comcast @home and tell them to remove my mail icon and to put the icon back into my netscape again and that should fix the problem? I have never heard of this,,,anyone else have this type of problem before?
