Don't know how you guys survive in the American desert! I hate the heat and would much prefer about 60 degree sunny weather!

Blech, it's about 100 here as well...it's gotten as hot as 109F this last week.

I feel for the poor souls that live in the real desert regions south of here.

YES OUR AIR CONDITIONING IS FIXED

for the moment

In any case, I'm sitting in air-conditioned bliss right now.

It's 105 here - DFW area. Sooo Hot. 90 inside the house.

Ditto. I kept trying to clean out my car this weekend - but I had to do it in like 60-second shifts, as it was like a damn sauna in there.

AC is supposed to be able to maintain a minimum of 20 degree difference between outside and inside so yours is having a major problem.

If it is not undersized then you can check the following:

1) Air Filter may be clogged

2) Condenser fins outside may be clogged with debris

3) Low on Freon

4) Blower or outside motor issues

5) Compressor weak and dying

its now 103 for me. :Q

weather.com had a high of 88 for the day this morning.

tomorrow they say will be 88 also.

I wonder if they have monkeys running the place or not.

Heh actually the A/C has been off for a few hours - we turn it on for a little bit ( until it gets to ~80-83 degrees F ) then just leave it off the rest of the time. But I'm glad it works.

95 where I was today with ~40% humidity (high for here). I spent the day moving four pickup loads of rock, hand loading, unloading.

how would one go about cleaning the condenser fins outside if one doesn't have access to some sort of pressure washer?

90 degrees here in IE SoCal but with a 67 degree dew point. Makes it muggy, reminds me of the midwest this time of year. Been real hot here all month, over 100 more times than I can count.

I don't know how it is outside, but it's hotter in here
DAMN PRESCOT (sp) DIE.
Or maybe not... Then I won't have a PC🙁
