1. July 4th is a few days away
2. Chinese people don't celebrate the 4th of July by lighting fireworks/firecrackers. Most Chinese people don't celebrate the 4th of July at all......

just heard a blurb on KPIX news about a deadly shooting in the city...
uh oh.

edit: 9 oclock news on Kron 4 now! fatal shooting. shootout with undercover cops who was trying to arrest a suspect. He was wanted in conjunction with the shooting of his girlfriend. He shot at the cops, and the cops let hell rain on his azz. Wild gun battle ensues and suspect is fcked up.

so yeah, NOT fireworks.
