Unbelievable. The smoothest scotch i've ever had.

haven't had much Scotch then.

from the scotch ratings book i had, macallan is generally considered (of single malts) one of the best.

as the novice i am, I find Macallan really similar to Glenfiddich.

oh dear god no, MaCallan is the best from what i've read/tried. Glenfiddich was definitely not in my top 5. Glenkinchie, however, is excellent.

Yes, that is true. Its anything but smooth. It sips more like a burbon. Hell, Glenfiddich is smoother.

Look up Glenmorangie, Bowmore and The Balvenie.

I have bottle of Bowmore 16 year cask strength that is so smooth that one could drink it all day - just not at $100/bottle.

 everyone has different tastes in alcohol. i will look those up, however, if i can find them. not too many liquor stores around here carry good scotches.

no love for Glenlivet?

None here. I think that scotch is complete crap. Bowmore is the worst. I have a bottle we opened, tried and it has never been drank since. Any of you that like that are free to have it.

bakersfield is not that far from 626 🙂

I'm a big fan of Glenlivet and, lately, Balvenie Doublewood. Macallan is next on my list, for a Christmas present, and Balvenie Portwood is on my list for my 24th birthday. 🙂

vomit > scotch. its just my opinion, but it's the truth. had 18 glenfiddtch, btw. i'll stick to the vodka.
