peeps are best stale and microwaved. as are marshmallows, if you don't have a fire to toast 'em over..

candy corn is best in a dish 50/50 with dry roasted peanuts and eaten together.. then it sorta approximates a payday candybar. a mix of candy corn and peanuts stirred in to a batch of rice crispie treats is kinda interesting too.. and looks festive..
