Well yesturday my 21 inch CRT went out on me and thats it that for that thing. Since Tubes of that size is just crazy on a desk i decided not to go and get another CRT even though they are perfect picture. I bought this LCD and i was amazed at how bad ghosting is when playing games. I never thought it would be that bad. This monitor is 16 ms and heard it was really good. Ill never buy a lcd unless its 6 ms or lower now. CRTS are so much better its crazy, but i dont regret it so much becuase 21 inch CRTS are so UGLY and heavy. Technology is so almost hear to perfecting LCDS so it wont be long we will see lcds with no ghosting and CRTS will be long gone.

Did you have Vsync enabled?

Was it hooked up through DVI?

Native resolution?


I had a Sony e540 21" (1600x1200) and my Dell 2005fp blows it away in just about every aspect..

 
No of course Vsync is not enabled.
I am using DVI
And im using its native resalution of 1600x1200.

I get so dizzy playing counter strike source from this ghosting stuff.
Ill never buy a LCD again becuase they absolutly suck. I just wonder how bad 6 ms monitors are? I never thought LCDS were this bad. I think i should just buy another 21 inch CRT for $350 can.
