just got tricked into working tonight

my restaurant called me and asked if i could work tonight. as i could use the money, i said sure, but then they said it wasn't to serve, it was to host :| they're making up for it by paying me a little bit more than hosts usually make, but i'm still irritated because it's still about half as much as i would have made serving and i would never have agreed to it if they had asked me up front if i was available to host, not just "to work," and they knew it, too. that was really deceptive of them.

Not all hosts have to be female. It's probably a 75:25 ratio here (f:m). If the restaurant is upscale it climbs to 50:50
