About 3-4 days ago I got the xbox 360, even though i swore waiting for the ps3, a very lienient return policy where I bought it got me to buy it.

Now I left my 360 on for like 2 days and the nights straight streaming my music from my pc, and just now when Im playing a dvd there is a 1 second delay from the sound and the picture that is bothering me.

And now it has affect the menu system, when Im switching between menus theres a 1-2 second delay when I press the button and when the sound corresponds with the picture.

Ive completely disconnect power cord, and the adapter from the wall.

Im thinking it may have overheated, but there are no other issues except that.

I would cut off the connection from the computer to the xbox, it could be routing the audio via the pc. Or do you have a stereo reciever that is processing the audio? Cut that off as well and turn it back on.
Sometimes when I use my cable box and route the video and audio via the media center pc and/or the AV reciever, I will get an audio delay.
