Just got the Phazon suit in Metroid Prime! How awesome is this game!!!

I just beat the boss to get the Phazon suit. I didn't think Samus could look even more badass than she did, but she does! This game is just completely awesome, and definitely THE best game I've played since Final Fantasy X and Gran Turismo 3 before that.

If ever there was a game that would make you buy the system to play, this is it.

I'm currently sitting at 92% with about 17 hours played in-game. Apparently the game timer doesn't count the time spent in the pause screen and map screen, so I'm sure I've got another hour on that. Just gotta collect about 5 more artifacts and I'm ready for the big showdown(s).

yea teh game is badass. i beat it teh other day 16 hours or so. but only 63%

are you using a guide or something?

and Meta Ridly is hard.

I had help on a few missle locations and energy tanks from my roommate, whom I think was using gamefaqs.com as his source. So technically, no. But having all the missles and tanks helps out tremendously with the boss battles.

dont need them i beat it missing 2 or 3 energy tanks and i only had 95 missles and 5 power bombs. only dies 3 times in teh whole game

I've only died twice, once at the very beginning because I didn't know what I was doing, and was just messing around. The second was the first trek through the heart of the phazon mines. I wasn't ready for the onslaught of pirates room after room with no save point in sight.

That's too bad, though, because even the death screen is awesome.

I'm sitting at 28% and I haven't played it in over a week. I've been to busy with Splinter Cell. I noticed that I don't become as enraged playing Splinter Cell as I did with Metroid. Metroid is cool but man do I need to go to anger management classes when playing against the item bosses.
