Just got the Microsoft IntelliEye mouse!

Man! This thing is so sweet! I got the "internet explorer" version, with the cool silver, and the extra two buttons. It's like gliding across the screen, gaming is just plain excellent, and the buttons on the side are SO usefull, I have one set to the start button, and one set to show desktop, oh man, it's awesome!

I give it a 90%!! 10% knocked off because it was a pain to install.

Plug it in and install the software.....how was it hard?

for me it was a pain All my fault really though... somehow USB 0 and USB 1 were disabled in BIOS, so I went through all this stuff, and then decided to look in the bios

btw...don't want to spoil it..but did u get the big silver/grey one...the one where both the additional buttons are on the left side...
That one has a issue a poorly designed mouse cable...the cable becomes loose at the top of the mouse and the mouse would then turn on and off intermittenatly.
It happened to me..

Anthrax: What do you mean by &quot;loose&quot;? It doesn't seem loose to me, outside of regular &quot;looseness&quot; anyway.

Did encounter a problem: Set the left button as &quot;show desktop&quot; been playin' counter-strike, and I'll mash that button, and swoosh! I'm back at the desktop! It's a pain, but I love the button being there when I'm not playing games

Sorry , I mean it comes loose after a while...espcially after playing FPS...I guess I got a bad one, but I have heard other ppl had similar problems with it.....I might have got a bad one....don't worry too much....that MS mouse comes with a 5 Year Warrenty..didn't it?...I like the shape of the mouse too...good if u have big hands......I changed it to the newer version of it at the end thou..the white one with the two buttons on either side and a 33% faster optical eye....

Yeah, I have the one that has one button on both sides, 33% faster, and all that hoopla. Came in a red box from wally world.

oh, then u are safe...the orginal had a problem...had both of them ....since passed the buggy one down the line.... sorry for freaking u out then.
Some time hate USB stuff thou...could be a pain to install if u don't read the install guide..had loadz of fun trying to install a logitech web cam once.

I got the Explorer version when it first came out a year ago, It's the best Mouse ever! I'll never go back to Ball mouse's.

I just wish I had jumped on the optical bandwagon a long time ago Always had to have CD's first though :/
