Hey All
Well, It's now time to take out the old and bring in the new 🙂
So, out with my old AGP mobo and in with the new socket 939 so I just received from Newegg my new GA-K8N Ultra-SLI and my AMD64 4000+ cpu just came in from my local computer store so now I will go out and pick up a 7800GTX
A couple of Qs:
1) I'll be getting a 7800GTX so should I DL the latest drivers from Nvidias site or just use the ones that come with the card.
2) Same question with Gigabytes mobo drivers, should just use the CD default drivers or
DL their latest, although I figure the mobos drivers are probably pretty good.
3) Should I update the mobs bios already???
4) ANd yes I am aware of the 7800GTX 512 card about to be released, however, I just
spent a bajillion dollars on this upgrade so I really can't afford that so don't ask 😉
